What I’ve been listening to… OneRepublic - Feel Again: somewhat under-appreciated when it comes to my music collection, as I do have most of OneRepublic’s music, but rarely find myself going directly to them to listen to any of there songs. Luckily for Shuffle, I almost missed out on this song, same for If I Lose Myself -thanks to the video. Luckily I’ve been reminded me their album is coming out soon. ‘Feel Again’ feels good; the lyrics, the message, reminds me of something I need to… well, feel again. Justin Timberlake - Suit & Tie: Okay. I have to admit on first listen I was like ‘Okay JT! Welcome back. then WTF is this!’ but it’s Justin… I decided to give this song a chance. On 2nd listen, I was definitely sort of feeling this track for various reasons: 1) Justin didn’t follow the trend that every artist has seemed to and for it being 7 years for him it’s good he didn’t choose to do what seems to be popular these days to make his comeback.  2) The song is catchy and there was a moment when I couldn’t get the song out of my head and had to play it and eventually put it on repeat. Tamar Braxton - Love & War: I think it was Brandy who posted an instagram pic that this song was a must have. So I instantly went to iTunes to download this track, thinking it was the song she worked on with TC on her reality show when I realized it wasn’t, I wasn’t let down or disappointed because this song was probably the best choice for Tamar’s first single. Though, it seems stikingly similar to Keyshia Cole’s Trust and Believe… her vocal performance and overall message of the song seems so genuine and well put together, that I picked this over Keyshia’s song. Brandy - Wildest Dreams: So when this song was finally released, I second guessed it as a single but loved the old school vibe and its meaning to what Brandy was going through. Next, I couldn’t get enough of it and then the album was released; containing a few gems that have become some of my favorite songs of 2012/13 but Wildest Dreams is one of those songs that constantly comes to the forefront when it comes to Two Eleven and currently holds the title of most played song from the album (also of 2012), finding its way back into rotation on my iPod.
